Dr. Abhinav is currently working as Assistant Professor(Stage-2) in the Department of Panchkarma ,Faculty of Ayurveda,Institute of Medical Sciences,Banaras Hindu University.He has completed B.A.M.S,Diploma in Yoga,M.D(Ay),PhD from BHU,Varanasi. Previously also served as Assistant Professor Panchkarma at “Gurukul Campus” Uttarakhand Ayurveda University, Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
He has delivered various lectures over Panchkarma in different international conferences ,national seminars ,workshops as well as delivered 10 radio talks (Akasvani) on different health related topics.He has Organised many International and National conferences/workshop in various capacities as Joint Secretary/Treasurer/Chairman Scientific committee/Chairperson.He has published 30 research papers and contributed 15 chapters in different books.His area of specialization includes Panchkarma interventions in Rheumatological disorders, Hepato-biliary disorders and Dermatological diseases.
He has received BHU GOLD MEDAL AWARD for first rank in M.D, Certificate of proficiency from Institute of Medical Sciences of topper in all three professionals of B.A.M.S, Ayurveda Visharad Award for outstanding academic performance, Kashi Gaurav Ratan Award in 2017, Kashi Ratan Award in 2019 and Certificate of outstanding contribution in reviewing awarded in Sep.2017 from Elsevier.
