Dr. Suhas Kumar Shetty, MD(Ayu), Ph.D., is a renowned Ayurveda practitioner, teacher & researcher who is specialized in Mental health, research methodology and medical statistics with an experience of over 16 yrs.
Currently he holds the posts of Professor & Head, Dept. of Mano Vijnana and Manasa Roga (Ayurveda Psychiatry) and Dean (Research & Development) at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan, India.
He is an international invited speaker in various conferences and workshops across the globe and attracts health seekers from USA, England, Scotland, South Africa, Srilanka and various parts of India. He is in editorial & review board of many scientific journals. He has to his credit 2 books & more than 61 scientific papers published in various credible journals. He is a recognized PG & Ph.D. guide at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Karnataka, Bangalore.
He is a recipient of various academic awards like ‘contingent grant’ award from CCRAS, New Delhi, ‘Pratibha Puraskara’ award for social service in the treatment of alcoholic disorders and paralysis, ‘Bhishak – 2018’ best doctor award, best paper presenter award at various seminars and conferences etc. to mention a few.
